talking with your hands, and thought
you are so my kind of gal.
Unlike most people smitten with your image,
I don't want to be friends with Rachel or
the girl who married Brad;
I want to be friends with the Greek girl.
You probably get a lot of offers for this kinda thing;
I know you're BFF with Courtney and
Mandy Ingbar but hear me out:
this call for friendship is mutually beneficial.
I can see it now, the fun we'll have.
I'll parade around in your hand me downs and
You can break down on Skye out of the public eye
(Bev and Duncan would love to have you, I'm sure).
And oh, while you're there, enjoying the privacy
(which they pronounce priv-eh-cee, ps), and
the fresh Scottish air,
Matty and I will hang out here:
Nice digs, Jen.
I think I can make myself at home
in our friendship.
Love,
Ali
Hilarious. (And what a great idea! Surely you'll keep us posted on whether/when she takes you up on this)
ReplyDeleteI am so a "Jen" girl... I'd love for her to be my BFF too! :)
ReplyDeleteBev says Im sure she will go down a storm at the local pub. wonder if she can hold a conversation about tractors as you know that is the main topic on a Friday night !! wonder if she would be willing to do a holiday house swap?
ReplyDeleteI will certainly let you girls know if she gets back to me!! I really do like her and truly think we could be friends...
ReplyDeleteAnd Bev, I think she would LOVE Friday night at Ardavasar and there is NO better holiday home than yours - which isn't even a holiday home! Not fair that you get to live in view of such beauty year round! When you and Dunc decide to move to Watsontown full time, Matt and I get first dibs on Alltan!
