Piles of It

A little of this in the morning...

produces some of this in the afternoon...
and this in the afternoon...
some of this in the evening...
and choosing to go to this place for a "Night at the Museum"...left this on the floor since the morning...
We chose fun today.

I have a secret to tell you: it is always worth it.

Greetings from Snowboken!

I woke up this morning and walked my honey to the train.
It was amazing; the snow was two feet deep!
And my Matty looked so cute.
Then I decided to keep on walking to see the sights of Snowboken.
Yep, that's Buddy's place above;
I don't go there, though, because Celebrocracy makes me nervous.
I stopped at Dames to get a Balthazar Bakery scone,
but as I approached, I saw that it was closed.
That made me sad.
But then my phone blew up; I opened the text and read.
"Coffee? Eggwhites? Turkey bacon?"
That made me happy.
Upstairs Dara and Michael Cera to the rescue.
There's nothing better than living below a great friend,
except living below her on a snowday!

I do love snow, but in moderation.

Snow Day!

It's a snow day for the Bloggerwives of Life As We Blog It, and we're making the most of it: we're sleeping in, enjoying steaming mugs of tea and coffee on the couch, playing with our wee bairns and wee kitty cats, and trying to set a new record for hours spent in pajamas!

Since Snowzilla is probably keeping many of you housebound today (let's hope it's not keeping you stuck at work!), we invite you to join us here later this morning for our regular Wild Card Wednesday post.

Until then, enjoy the winter wonderland... and pray it clears before my flight to London tomorrow evening!
